There has been a rumor which is spreading online that PS 3 will be dropping their price from $400 to $299 this year. A financial analyst named Michael Patchter said that Sony would be lowering the price to $299 on April. The Xbox will soon follow on June.
Honestly I think that this rumor could become true because the world is in economic recession now that it is hard for the people to let go of their money. It would be e good move to trim down the cost to get the sales up but I think that $299 is still higher. Though, I’m hoping of the price cut I wouldn’t count about it since Patchter has some predictions that didn’t come true back on 2007.
